Kirsten Hicks is a co-host of The Flatline K9 Podcast.  Kirsten and her husband Travis own a dog training business called Flatline K9.  Flatline K9 trains dogs in the areas of obedience, behavior modification, personal protection, and police dogs.  Along with training dogs, Kirsten is also a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room of a local Trauma Center.  Kirsten is a certified Trauma Nurse Specialist, and is an instructor for TNCC, which is a trauma nursing course.  Kirsten is the head obedience trainer at Flatline K9.  Kirsten has a son and a daughter, a stepdaughter and stepson, and a step granddaughter.    

Travis Hicks is a co-host of The Flatline K9 Podcast.  Travis and his wife Kirsten own a dog training business called Flatline K9.  Flatline K9 trains dogs in the areas of obedience, behavior modification, personal protection, and police dogs.  Along with training dogs, Travis is also a Police K9 Officer with his K9 partner Ryker.  Travis has been a Police Officer for nearly 20 years.  Travis also had a career as a Paramedic where he served for 20 years prior to changing course and starting Flatline K9.  Travis attended Tarheel Canine School for Dog Trainers and completed the six month Master Trainer certification program.  Travis also teaches topics related to emergency medical care of working dogs at various Police K9 Conferences throughout the United States.  Travis has a daughter and a son, a stepson and stepdaughter, and granddaughter.
